Who is Astro.JG?

Astro Jg was born and raised in a small town called Hampton,GA. He Spent most of his time in Jonesboro seeing good and bad in the community.

He grew up around gang activity. Joined a gang at a young age of 15.

He found his passion for music from his older brother Montrez Askin AKA Trez. He was a upcoming artist who unfortunately passed away from suicide. He followed in his older brother’s footsteps.

Honestly making music was an escape from the real world. He got inspired by Rod Wave from the tremendous amount of pain and depression that you feel when you listen to it. His single Pain tells you about how he losses his Grandmother Glinda Sanders to Cancer. He talks about drugs and alcohol how it affects going through this depression stage. Making music was a comfort way of dealing with pain and suffering from losing someone so close to him. The song la rue describe where he’s from and how he grew up in the streets and where’s he’s from you don’t really see the age of 22.

His mother Tanya George is his biggest role model. Raised him in a way to view life a different way. His grandmother was his other half. Always gave him reinsurance love and care. He used to beat on the school lunch table and mainly free styled pretty much anything that came to his mind. He free styles all his music and never wrote his own song. The music he puts out he wants to give the people feelings with pain depression and PTSD and let’s them know you will make it through no matter how hard it is. There is always light at the end of the tunnel. His song Devil’s Plan is about the struggle as a kid worrying about mainly everything. And taking his older brother Trez. Him getting lost in his thoughts every night. How he choose drugs to hide the pain and thought he could drown the pain aways with it. The reason for the name is it was the devils plan to take his grandma and other brother out of this world. Another inspirational artist that made him choose to make music was Toosii.

AstroJG SONG DROWINGINLOVE tells how he admires is love into his girlfriend named Madyson Lawson and how he express his love to her. AstroJG is a very talented artist rather it’s rap or emotional. His first song he ever made was stacked and was made in 2020. But he never published it because he was satisfied with the outcome of the song. He started practicing mainly freestyling more and more to find his True Tone. When he found his True Tone he came out with a song called shake shake as a upbeat song from his others. Shake shake is a song about females shaking what they mama gave them. He grew up with his God Brother Chino and Chino was always there for him through the ups and downs. Beside his childhood friend Grayson Goss basically that his brother figure. They did everything together including Football at school. His first time ever at a studio was with his other Brother Trez. Trez taught him the basics of music/rap game. Astro JG has been though so much pain and hurt at a young age.

That’s why he makes music. For people going though the same stuff. His song sunshine death freestyle about his almost committed suicide and how the depression really got the best of him. And how he crashed in a tree going 120 but God was looking out for him. He left the accident with no bumps or bruises or broken bones. He still lives in Hampton with his parents. His father David George taught him how to push through and keep his head up in dark times. And he a still up coming artist and unsigned artist. But hoping one day a record label will sign with him if he gets that chance it will make him go 10 times Harding in the music world.
